At nearby Mahogany Run Golf Course, you can play a few holes in the morning, then take the ferry from Red Hook over to spend some time on the beautiful island of St. John. There are several historic sites nearby including Virgin Islands National Park where petroglyphs, or rock carvings, have been left by the Taino people. Check out Blackbeard’s Castle, a Danish Watch Tower built in the late 1600s. Historic Charlotte Amalie has lots to see and provides unique shopping and dining. |
